"Power-Up - The Soundtrack" is the accompanying score to Psychotic Psoftware's intense joyriding, firework display of a modernised retro shoot-em-up indie game, Power-Up.

The music picks up on key points in the game's plot, enriching the story and the vibrant, colourful environments in which the game takes place.

believe it or not, all design, code, art, sound and music was produced by just one person... Mike Hanson laboured on PowerUp for 21 months in the hopes that the final result would be a consistent, solid and most importantly fun gaming experience.

Power-Up is Mike's first commercial one-man game and is available now via digital download from Xbox Live Indie Games with a PC version coming before the end of the year.

Mike Hanson is a games artist by trade, but with years as a songwriter and performer in a 90's Liverpool-based rock band, Mike brought his songwriting skills over to the production of his own one-man indie games.

Under the banner of Psychotic Psoftware, Mike's first commercial release was PowerUp, a retro inspired scrolling shooter, entirely produced by himself.
